Zoo Trip
In April, SHCS went to Living Treasures Donegal PA for a zoo trip. Families got to meet an owl and play with reptiles. The animals were very active and friendly despite the chilly temperatures and rain. We all had lunch together supplied by our friends at New Touch Wedding and Event Planning. We had lovely basket raffle. Special Thanks to our generous individual donors and our corporate sponsors.
Pumpkin Patches
In October, we took our families to some really cool Pumpkin Patches. Thank you to Goodman Family Farms and Gearhard Farms for hosting our families for this fun Fall adventure. Everyone who attended got to take home a pumpkin and the kiddos really enjoyed the hayrides.
Back to School!
Parents were invited to an informative meeting to meet the teachers, center directors, family resource specialists, and central office staff. They received information about policies, procedures, Parent Policy Council and resources like Beverly’s Birthdays and First Year Cheer. Families also got goodies bags with a calendar magnet and car magnets in them to show their SHCS Pride.
