Info For Parents (Click/Tap Here)

Parents/Guardians,

Seton Hill Child Services pride ourselves in meeting the needs of all our learners and families. With our new policies and procedures in place to keep everyone’s safety in mind, our program is going to look a little different than years past. Since we will be having three different types of learning at the centers, we really need you as the parents to help us track our attendance.

We will be doing a trial run the first couple of weeks to pick up supplies and lunches at the center. We will be picking up premade lunches on Tuesdays and on Fridays each week. On Fridays, you will also need to pick up your new activity week packet.

Remote learners will need to come drop off your weekly activity packets and pick up your new packets every Friday. These packets will be given to you at the start of your program year for the first two weeks. On the first Friday, come to your center and drop off your packet.

  • Make sure the activities are in the envelop or folder that it was given to you
  • Write your Child’s Name LARGE on the Envelop or Folder
  • You will receive your new activity packet for the week.

Inside your binder, THAT YOU MUST KEEP FOR THE DURATION OF THE YEAR will have a Non-Federal Share (NFS) Calendar at the front. This sheet will be what we use to track your attendance. Please fill it out and turn it in weekly.

  • Circle or fill in the times worked on these activities.*** This is IMPORTANT to keep your child’s attendance up to date for the program.
  • All you need to do is circle a time that you completed these activities OR write in the amount of time, then print and sign your name and your child’s name.
  • This monthly NFS calendar needs brought to the centers each week to receive your new learning packet.

A calendar will be provided in your binders of all the activities we are doing for the month. On our website at shchildservices.org you will be able to access this calendar online and look up the videos/activities for each week. There will also be a PDF of all the lessons and activities and another NFS form.
